The 9916 particulate respirator is compatible with other 3M personal safety products, e.g. eyewear and earplugs. Activated carbon layer help reduce exposure to nuisance levels* of acid gas, such as, sulphur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride 3M™ Cool Flow™ exhalation valve keep the wearer more comfortable by reducing heat build-up inside the respirator Mould nose clip to the wearer’s nose shape to help reduce eyewear fogging plus for a better seal and fit Dual straps for even pressure on neck, face and head that improves comfort Robust shell and cup design that is resistant to collapse for durability • Protection factor: 10 x Workplace Exposure Standard • Packaging: 10 respirators / box, 6 boxes / case *Nuisance levels are those levels below the Workplace Exposure Standard Proper selection, training and use are essential in order for the respirator to adequately protect the wearer from certain airborne contaminants.
