It’s intrinsically safe, attaching mechanically to the TR-802E Powered Air Turbo (with tool) to help prevent accidental battery removal and spark risk during use (per EN 60079-11). The TR-803 battery is ATEX Certified, charges quickly and features a charge level indicator for quick visual reference. Charges quickly (90 % charge in approximately 3.5 hours) Approximately 750 full charge/discharge cycles Standard capacity rechargeable lithium ion battery Mechanical attachment of battery to help prevent battery removal and spark risk during use per EN 60079-11

For a rechargeable battery back intended for use with 3M™ Powered Air Respirators, use Batteries for 3M™ Powered Air Respirators. Battery operating time is based on an appropriately charged new battery, with new filters being used at room temperature and moderate work rates. Extremes of temperature, the age and cycle of the battery, charge status, filter clogging, and high work rates may negatively impact operating time. If the application is sensitive to operating time it is recommended to consult with 3M to determine which type of battery should be used.
