We’ve introduced an alternative to the round bayonet connector with the new 3M™ Secure Click™ connection, resulting in a quick, simple cartridge/filter connection. It works just like a seat belt. Simply align the connections and push until you hear a click and feel confident that filters are installed properly. Lightweight filters combine protection with comfort. They are designed to provide a wide field of vision. They can be clicked into place quickly and easily onto 3M™ Secure Click™ Reusable Respirators. The 3M™ Secure Click™ Hard Case Particulate Filter P100 D9093 helps provide respiratory protection against exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA. The filter is effective for concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times the PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. This filter helps protect against a wide range of oil and non-oil based particulate contaminants when welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring and soldering. This P100 filter is designed to protect in higher-heat applications. Industries in which this filter is commonly used include abatement, agriculture, construction, general manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, primary metals, and remediation. Filters are NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. Passing NIOSH’s P-series test criteria, the P100 D9093 filter provides at least 99.97% filter efficiency against particles. Do not use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
