3M™ Secure Click™ Organic Vapor Cartridge/Filter P100 D80921 has the Secure Click™ connection style. The 3M™ Secure Click™ connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the cartridges. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and cartridge/filter and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide wearers confidence that the cartridges/filters are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click cartridges/filters are dual-flow to allow easy breathing. Two dual-flow cartridges/filters on each respirator combine to create four airflow paths in the world’s first quad-flow cartridge/filter system providing breathability and comfort. The 3M Secure Click Organic Vapor Cartridge/Filter P100 D80921 is NIOSH-approved for use against certain organic vapors and oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants when used with approved 3M™ Secure Click™ facepieces. Refer to the 3M™ Respirator Selection Guide for a list of chemicals for which these cartridges/filters can be used. The D80921 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or for sandblasting. Change 3M Secure Click Organic Vapor Cartridge/Filter P100 D80921 in accordance to your well-documented change-out schedule or earlier if smell, taste or irritation from contaminants is detected. Replace the cartridges/filters if it becomes damaged or if breathing becomes difficult. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, replace the cartridges/filters after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever is first. 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants and help determine cartridge change-out schedules. 3M™ Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your choices.
