3M DBI-SALA Confined Space HC (High Capacity) Counterweighted Cart Base is constructed of powder-coated steel and aluminium, is portable, and has integrated adjustment features and utilises a specified amount of 20 kg weight plates as a means of ballast. When used as part of our complete system, this base meets the requirements of EN795:2012, EN1496:2006, CEN/TS 16415: 2013, and AS/NZS 5532.

Use 3M DBI SALA Confined Space HC (High Capacity) Counterweight Cart Base with 3M DBI SALA HC davit masts for a confined space rescue and work support system. Our counterweight cart base utilises a specified amount of 20 kg weight plates as a means of ballast, enabling the attachment a 3M DBI SALA Davit Arm System. The cart portion of this base is constructed primarily of steel, and finished in a mixture of hi visibility green and gloss black powder coatings. The base and connecting components are constructed generally of light weight alloy aluminium, and finished in a mixture of hi visibility green and black powder coat. The friction reducing insert sleeve is constructed of thermoplastic which aids in davit rotation. The integrated adjustment features such as extendable and retractable horizontal member provide flexibility during installation and can be secured into position with a detent pins. Levelling of the base is made possible via two integrated levelling screw feet and one built in level indicator. The weight plates utilise a series of four horizontal members for receiving counterweight plates. The cart is portable via an integrated push/pull handle, and four swivel casters with 90 locks and brakes. And, has built in storage receptacles for convenient storage of all necessary system components. Versus previous 3M DBI SALA models, a larger safe working coverage area is allowed with this base.Furthermore, accompanying davit arms can be used in all pin positions and with equipment (SRL/Winch) front or back mounted. When used as part of our complete system, this base meets the requirements of EN795:2012, EN1496:2006, CEN/TS 16415: 2013, and AS/NZS 5532. All 3M DBI SALA HC Bases are designed to be used in combination with 3M DBI SALA HC Davit Masts, and together form a perfectly matched confined space rescue and work support system.
