These discs are now available with an extended grade range up to 1000+, making them ideal for a broad spectrum of applications, from aggressive stock removal to fine finishing. Effective on a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, all wood, paints, primers, and other coatings. The durable film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, ensuring additional durability and edge retention for both wet and dry applications. For best results, use with 3M Xtract Random Orbital Sanders to maximize performance and efficiency. Hookit discs are less aggressive than 3M Stikit discs, making them ideal for achieving finer finishes.
