What am I used for?

A height safety anchor point for use on metal roofs where access to timber is difficult, will arrest from any direction.

SafetyLink’s patented surface mounted FrogLink has set a new benchmark in the field of height safety. This revolutionary all in one unit has been designed to attach to all metal roof profiles with a single row of attachment holes. This unique configuration makes it a fast simple unit for installation, fall protection whilst working at heights.

Its low profile reflective design is a plus for any commercial or residential enterprise wanting to maintain an aesthetically pleasing façade.

The FrogLink can be fixed to a corrugated sheet metal, trimdek, kliplok and a multitude of other metal roof sheeting materials, can be used for domestic or commercial use.

The FrogLink doesn’t just look good; its dynamic design reduces the load back onto the structure and person attached to the anchor. The FrogLink is rated to 15kN, tested and manufactured in accordance with Australia and New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1891.4 and European BS EN 795:2012, CEN/TS 16415:2013.

POSITIONING OF FROGLINK ANCHOR POINT

(refer to appendix diagrams 2 and 3 of the Handbook)

The first FrogLink must be in a position easily and safely reached by a secured ladder or a manhole access point.

Access to underside of roof is not required. It is recommended the FrogLink be installed to the top of the roof sheeting profile, where this is not practical the FrogLink may be installed into the pan away from debris. cured ladder or a manhole access point.

Live Load on Anchors:

The FrogLink anchor is best suited to roof pitches up to 30 degrees. For over 30 degrees FrogLink’s should be used in conjunction with other access methods to ensure no live loading. Note: These anchors are not abseil anchors and therefore if they are subjected to a live load this may trigger the energy absorbing regions.

Roof Anchors Rivets 7.5mm Aluminium bulb type rivet:

• Optimal for applications requiring the tensile load to be spread over a large area, such as when fastening plastics, fibreglass and other composite material.
• During installation, the rivet body folds into 3 separate legs, creating a large load bearing area, and minimizing the possibility of damage to the parent materials.
• These rivets are supplied with an EPDM washer under the head to provide a weather tight seal.
