Skylotec Easy Speed Type 1 Fall Arrest Device

The EASY SPEED is a fall-arrest device for work at height and rope access work. Compliant with EN 353-2, EN 12841-A/B standards and RFU 11.075 requirements for use on inclined and horizontal surfaces over an edge (r = 0.5 mm). It allows safe ascent and descent along a vertical line and locks immediately in case of a fall. Thanks to the shape of the adjustment lever, travel along the rope is facilitated. The lever is activated by the connector when it is pushed upwards during use. In addition, the fall arrester is equipped with a two-position adjustment wheel (Rest/Go) for setting the operating mode. In the Go position, the device can slide freely along the rope and stops in case of a fall. In the Rest position the device may be manually blocked above the user to minimize the potential fall factor. The different possible configurations with their working loads are shown in the chart.
