A special assembly that optimizes productivity by holding 3M Hot Melt Applicator PG II or 3M Hot Melt Applicator PG II LT in a 45 position for hands-free adhesive application. This step-saving system allows one worker to concentrate on joining the material while minimizing fatigue from positioning the applicator before and after each step. Mount includes bracket, stand and nozzle assembly.

3M Hot Melt Applicator Bench Mount PG II and PG II LT Nozzle Assembly 9233

Directs the adhesive flow from 3M Hot Melt Applicator PG II or 3M Hot Melt Applicator PG II LT straight down when used in conjunction with the 3M Hot Melt Applicator Bench Mount. This ergonomic downward orientation makes hands-free assembly even easier. The kit includes adapter, valve, standards 0.093" tip and heat resistant bag.

3M Hot Melt Applicator Quadrack Converter 9275

Adds Quadrack capabilities to standard 3M Hot Melt Applicator TC or 3M Hot Melt Applicator LT. This converter increases the loading capacities to these applicators, maximizing working time and reducing frequent reloading upon exhausting shorter hot melt material. Must be used in tandem with the 3M Hot Melt Applicator TC Palm Trigger 9761 to form a complete system.

(Valve Assembly comes installed on 3M Hot Melt Applicator TC, 3M Hot Melt Applicator EC and 3M Hot Melt Applicator LT.

Understanding Hot Melt Applicators

3M Hot Melt Applicators, also referred to as "glue guns," are tools used to apply liquefied thermoplastic adhesives and are available in low and high-temperature versions. Low-temperature adhesive applicators operate at approximately 250F / 121C and are beneficial when bonding heat sensitive materials such as electronics, plastics, and cloth. High-temperature applicators operate at a minimal temperature of approximately 380F / 193C and can dispense adhesives that produce a stronger bond than low-temperature adhesives.

Melted 3M Hot Melt Adhesive is extruded through the nozzle by either pneumatic pressure, a mechanical trigger mechanism, or with pressure applied directly on the stick. Different nozzles can be used to apply thin, wide strips or narrow, thicker beads. Hot melt adhesive generally sets quickly, ranging from a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the adhesive formulation.
