Our auto masking paper comes with a polycoated backing to help prevent the strong solvents used in automotive paints, base coats and clear coats from penetrating to the other side, keeping freshly painted surfaces free from contamination. It also protects against dust contamination from paper fibers. When properly applied, this product saves auto body shops from costly clean up and rework associated with accidental paint overspray exposure.
Easy to Handle in the Shop: 3M Scotchblok Masking Paper offers easy handling properties to make the job of automotive technicians go smoothly and hassle free. It's a thin paper that conforms and attaches to a wide range of shapes. Use this masking paper with 3M masking tapes and masking equipment (sold separately). The paper easily tears when used with apron tapers and maskers, reducing paper waste that can occur with sloppy or ragged tears.
