3M™ FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is an adhesive tape that is used for sealing and patching FSK-faced duct wrap insulation, as well as a vapor seal for reinforced aluminum faced fiberglass, mineral wool thermal insulation, and sheet metal. Made with foil/scrim/kraft (FSK) lamination that is coated with a solvent acrylic, pressure-sensitive adhesive, this tape bonds and seals at temperatures as low as -10 °F (-23 °C). While designed for cold weather, it also offers excellent performance in demanding heat and humidity conditions. It easily conforms to irregular surfaces and shapes and offers easy removal for a simple application process. This tape meets the UL723 flame/smoke rating, as well as the ASTM specification C1136, Type II and IV, for safe use. For best results, store tape in a cool, dry environment. Tri-Directional Reinforced Backing 3M™ Venture Tape™ FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is a 5.5  mil tri-directional reinforced tape that excels in demanding temperature and humidity applications. It is comprised of a foil/scrim/kaft laminated backing coated with a cold weather acrylic adhesive. This backing is flexible and conforms well to irregular surfaces and curves. With superior resistance to weathering, mold, UV and environmental conditions, this tape performs extremely well in demanding cold and hot temperature applications. It applies easily to both fibrous and sheet metal ductwork and is easily installed without special tools or application methods. 3M™ Venture Tape™ FSK Facing Tape 1525CW is UL723 Classified (10/10 Flame/Smoke Rating). The facing meets ASTM C1136 type II and IV.
